Kochi
Kochi, the queen of the Arabian sea is one of the major tourist destinations located in India. The port city is visited by millions of people every year in order to explore the commercial capital of Kerala. The major destinations located in this part of Ernakulam city is Fort Kochi and Mattancherry. The metro city takes the people through the sights of Jew street and Chinese fishing nets. Museums, as well as art galleries, are also open to the people where they get to see the ancient works of Raja Ravi Varma and other artists.

Thekkady
Being one of the famous hill stations located in Kerala, this place is embraced by nature itself. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary covers a large part of Thekkady where the people also get to be at the tiger reserve. Munnar
Located in the district fo Idukki, Munnar is the most visited Hill station located in Kerala. Munnar is a trekkers paradise where the travellers get to trek to various destinations like Top station and Chokramudi. Fascinating places to visit are echo point and Eravikulam National Park where the destination sets the people into the magic of nature.

Alleppey
Alleppey is a destination where travellers reach in order to cruise through the most famous backwaters located in Kerala. Known as the Venice of the east, the houseboat cruise through the Vembanad Lake is the most exciting activity to be done here. The longest lake of Kerala sets a peaceful voyage for the people where they get to see the best sunsets and set rises. Thiruvanathapuram
The capital city of Kerala is the right destination for the travellers to explore when at Kerala. Located on the southernmost tip of Kerala, this place sets destinations like Ponmudi and Poovar where the travellers get to live in the best of nature. Two of the most famous beach destinations in Kerala, Varkala and Kovalam are located here where tourists from various parts of the world reach to set their beach holidays.
A number of famous temples like Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Attukal Bhagavathy Temple are also situated in Trivandrum where the seekers reach up for blessings. Neyyar Wildlife sanctuary opens the gate to the ecosystem of the city. Out of the two zoos located in Kerala, Trivandrum owns the zoo which is also considered to be one of the oldest existing zoos in India.

Gavi
Relatively a newer tourist spot spromoted by the Kerala Tourist Board, as an eco friendly tourist attraction. Under the auspices of the State Tourism Board organises a day trip trek and boating. Extremely calm and peaceful place to enjoy beauty at its nature’s best.
The sightings of the gopher trees in the peripheral forest of Gavi has increased the interest of both the botanists and the religious scholars. As of now, only 2 of its kind have been spotted. Gopherwood is a term which finds mention in the bible. From the tourists point of view, the terrain is rough and bumpy, as infrastructure is yet to pick up and thus, tourists prefer to hire 4 wheel drive when scouting in the location.
Kanyakumari
Colloquially known where the land meets the seas! Exquisite location during sun set as the confluence of the Arabian Sea, The Bay of Bengal join the Indian Ocean. Tourist stay back just to witness and capture the evening sun set on celluloid. Also the Tiruvalluvar statue carved in stone is worth a watch.
It has been a great centre for art and religion for centuries. Kanyakumari during ancient times was credited to have trade and commerce relations. Geographically, Kanyakumari is considered as the southern end of the Coramandel coastal region of mainland India. A distinction is being made, here, as the southern most tip of India is known as the Indira point (formerly Pygmalion point), in the South Andaman sea.
Vagamon
Although, not a part of the main tourist circuit, considered still a nascent attraction which still has its charm. Extremely calm and a perfect location to laze offers tourists peace and tranquility to enjoy a quiet day! Famous for its rolling meadows and pine forests.
Christian missionaries, found Vagamon to be the recipient of good climate and therefore decided to set up their abode of service at Kurusimala about 7 Kms away from Vagamon town. It will be of interest to note by tourists that, National Geographic traveler has assigned Vagamon amongst the top 50 destinations in India. vagamon also is the home of para gliding in South India and the annual para gliding festival (held every year between Mar/Apr) has gained popularity, thereby attracting many visitors. The para gliding festival is a 4 day event supported by Kerala tourism.
